This is an outpatient primary care rotation. During this rotation, students can expect to see well visits, sick visits, and chronic condition management. I see about 20-30 patients each day; in-person and telemedicine. 10% of my patients are pediatric, 80% are adults, and 10% are geriatric.

There are multiple independent mental health providers, Clinical Psychologists, LPCs, NPs

I see primarily Tricare patients, though I take other insurances. Consequently, I see many active duty families and retired veterans. I see children, adolescents, and adults. I approach mental health from an integrative and holistic perspective.

Pain Management - Medical and Interventional/Some FP

Busy Management of Complex Pain Management Issues involving wide array of patients - pediatric, adult, and geriatrics. Student will learn immense amount regarding medications, interventions, psychiatric comorbities, and collaborative work with primary care.

I am one of two NPs in the office. We have 4 pediatricians. We have office hours M-F 0800-1700 and on Saturdays 0800-1200. We often have students.

Weight loss surgery, also called Bariatric Surgery, has been shown to be the most reliable long term means of weight loss for those who are morbidly obese. Our program goal is to help patients who suffer from the disease of obesity live a longer, healthier, happier, more productive life by using the most reliable long term manner possible. Anti-Reflux surgery has been shown to be the best way to control regurgitation predominant reflux. It is also a great option for patients who wish to avoid lifelong proton pump inhibitor (PPI) therapy and those who have become refractory to PPI treatment.

My name is Amy Leibli, I am a dual certified nurse practitioner in family and psychiatry across the lifespan. I also have obtained my Doctorate in nursing practice. I am opening slots for students looking for preceptorship so I may share my knowledge and experience over the years as a nurse practitioner that has grown with the field. I have worked with FQHCs and Community Behavioral Health throughout my career until I opened my own practice in 2021 called Mind & Body Integration, PLLC in Canon City, Colorado. My practice is growing rapidly, I do work with disabled veterans as well as full family practice and psychiatry in a holistic manner. I would like to host/precept family nurse practitioner, psychiatric mental nurse practitioner, and doctoral nurse practitioner students.
